R.A.L.L.Y Notes
This is our NEW weekly email: Short ideas. Real lessons. Stuff you can use this weekend.
Hey Tennis Freaks!
Quick heads up.
We’re switching to a new format called R.A.L.L.Y Notes.
You’ll see this hit your inbox every Friday morning.
Each week:
One thing we noticed
One small adjustment
One lesson
One real-life moment
One next move
Short. Simple. Useful.
Let’s get into it.
🧠 R — REP
Here is coach, Jonathan Stokke, breaking down when to go down the line.
The big idea:
Most errors come from changing direction at the wrong time.
🎯 A — ADJUSTMENT

U16 Nationals
A quote that finally clicked
A coach once told me:
“If you’re always rushing to finish points, you’re usually the one under pressure.”
Didn’t make sense back then.
Makes perfect sense now.
Try this:
Stop forcing winners early
Build the point one more ball
Let them blink first
Control first. Finish second.
🎾 L — LESSON
Getting better when you can’t be on court much
Over the years, I learned this the hard way:
When court time is limited, fitness becomes your edge.
Why it matters:
Better fitness = better decisions
You don’t always need more reps.
Sometimes you need a bigger engine.

📸 L — LIFE
Marathon brain in a tennis body

This run wasn’t for tennis.
It’s part of my marathon training.
Why I’m sharing it:
Long runs teach patience and tennis punishes impatience.
👉 Y — YOUR MOVE
A string that quietly won me over
If you’re due for a restring, this is worth a look.
This video is over a year old, but this string has slowly become my favorite.
Why:
Great feel
Reliable control
Easy on the arm
See ya next Friday,
Cade & Chris
